Under My Umbrella

Hello lovelies,

How are we all doing in lockdown? It’s a funny old time isn’t it! I’ve been using this time to channel my creative energy into a whole bunch of creations using the new Under My Umbrella Bundle.

I was so inspired with some of the beautiful creations around, that once I started I couldn’t stop. I took inspiration from some of the most talented artisans out there, and recreated them using just a handful of tools.

The first card I created was inspired by the lovely Lauren Alarid, whose designs always make me drool. This was such a simple creation using scraps of Bird Ballad paper, I love the using up what you have mentality and the fussy cutting of those flowers are so worth it.

I then experimented with my fave colour, Seaside Spray, using the ink pad to stamp tiny raindrops all over as a background. I used the same ink pad to stamp the umbrella before punching it out, and added a touch of colour using Stampin’ Blends in Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink combos, and a little bit of Light Old Olive for the leaves.

The card above was inspired by Susan Wong, who had made a gorgeous creation using this Z food card style. By her simply adding the dimensions on her Instagram post I was able to whip one up myself and create my own card, using Bird Ballad papers and the Under My Umbrella Stamps. This type of card was so easy to make, and I really love how you can add more prettiness with the extra card space.

The last card was inspired by one of my favourite people, Jenni Paul. Her designs are always beyond beautiful. I started by simply washing Seaside Spray ink over a small piece of Shimmer White Cardstock to create a dreamy background. I then stamped one of the umbrellas and lots of flowers in Memento Black Ink, and coloured the flowers using the same Stampin’ Blends as before.

My final creation uses a Mini Pizza Box decorated with Bird Ballad paper, and a small Stitched Square stamped with tiny raindrops and a sweet sentiment from the same stamp set.

The idea with this set is for it to be a DIY Card Kit that you can recreate at home with just the purchase of the Under My Umbrella Bundle. Anyone who purchases this bundle through me will receive ALL the materials necessary to recreate my these projects at home themselves. You will even be guided by me personally via a private FaceBook group tutorial. Contact me to add this bundle to my next workshop.

Please stay safe by staying home and keep calm with crafting.

(Ink pads and Stampin’ Blends will need to be purchased separately, if you don’t already have these).
