Hello all you lovelies,
I am so excited to be showcasing brand new Stampin' Up! products from the new Annual Catalogue 2020-21. You can find a digital copy of this catalogue on my homepage, to the left of my blog feed.
One of the first purchases I made in the pre-order was the Lovely You stamp set. I loved the foliage stamps, and I thought the sentiments were so beautiful, ideal for cards and scrapbooking.
Over the past few weeks I have thoroughly enjoyed playing with this stamp set in different colours. I was really inspired by fellow demonstrator, Isa Stempeltoertchen, who always creates the most elegant cards. I love how she used various green inks to create such a gorgeous floral arrangement around the outside of the card. I gather all of my greens together (Mint Macaron, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Seafoam, Tranquil Tide) to create a version of her card for myself.

I created smaller notecards using inks, and even created a small box to fit them in. The lid of the box is decorated with the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Speciality Papers, a perfect accompaniment to this stamp set. I tried to create cards ranging in difficulty from beginner crafter, using just stamps, to keen crafter, using die cutting tools aswell.

I continued this floral theme playing with other soft colour inks, again ranging the cards from total beginner to keen crafter. I also used daubers for some of the stampin below, blending two similar colour ink shades onto one stamp to create a two tone effect.

My most recent creations using this stamp set were inspired by the lovely Nina Waldschmidt, who had shown a step by step tutorial of how to use Stampin' Blends to create a simple background, that you could then stamp onto with the same colour ink to create a really pretty effect. I chose Petal Pink as my colour of choice, adding touches of gold with the Forever Gold Speciality Papers. I also used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to create the labels for the sentiments, and added some sweet butterflies from Butterfly Gala Bundle.

You can find all of these products over on the Stampin' Up! website. If you are local you can add these products to my next workshop order.
Wishing (lovely) you a wonderful weekend.
