How to make your own Autumnal Wreath

Updated: Oct 15, 2019

Okay so you’ve seen all the posts with the chic Autumn Decor and you’re thinking how can I create something like that. Well, I have the answer & it’s super simple.

First you need to get yourself the wreath base, this wicker one is from Hobbycraft.

Then you need a die cutting machine, which you can find second hand cheaply on ebay or even FaceBook Market Place. Most importantly you need these gorgeous Gathered Leaves dies which are from Stampin’ Up!’s brand new Autumn/Winter catalogue.

For the leaves themselves I used a dreamy combination of Mint Macaron, Whisper White, Vellum and Shimmer White cardstock washed with SU ink & an Aqua Painter.

I simply ran the leaves through my die cutting machine, and then started to stick them on with SU dimensionals, arranging them in a cute little cluster together. I didn’t want to do the entire wreath as I love the ones I have seen which only cover a small part. I finished off the wreath with some twine and a small kraft tag with a heart die cut in the middle.

This is another fab project for using up scraps, and it’s really quick and easy once you know how. I made this in less than an hour!!

If you would like to make one yourself, you can purchase all the Stampin’ Up! materials here. Alternatively you can book a 1:1 workshop with me to show you “how to” with all materials provided.
