Eco Blog Hop #3

Welcome to our monthly blog dedicated to paper craft projects with an Eco theme.

This month we are using products that are soon to retire in June, as the brand new Stampin’ Up! catalogue launches new products.

For my creation I have used a piece of white card that comes with every pack of SU DSP. This is super useful card, and I always keep it, as it’s perfect for scrapbooking pages.

I had an idea in mind after looking at one of my favourite stamp sets from 2019-2020, Genuine Gems. I wanted to create a simple scrapbook page for the Mamas and kiddies out there who are currently homeschooling, and doing an amazing job every single day, despite feeling like they’re failing and being overwhelmed by the situation.

I used a cute photo taken by my partner, which is a rarity, as I usually take pics of the boys and only appear on selfies. The photo was printed using my HP Sprocket, which is fab for when you want a photo immediately!! Using more leftover scraps of card I die cut lots of stars using the Stitched Stars Dies (okay these aren’t retiring but I couldn’t resist!). I literally stitched these on using my sewing machine, which I have only ever used twice, so it was good to get it out and try a different technique.

All the products featured in this blog are available to purchase from Stampin’ Up! Please message me to add to my next workshop order.

Thanks so much for stopping by, please now hop on over to my lovely friend Gemma using the link below.
